Canadian costumer / makeup artist / designer living in Calgary, Alberta.

I have been crafting costumes, accessories, and props since 2006. I work predominately in fabrics, leather, and thermoplastics with an emphasis on functionality and durability. I've always been fascinated with costume dynamics - how do things attach? How do under-layers affect the over-layers? How can I translate this on-screen design to something that will work in real life?

Details are my jam; the more, the better and the research phase of any project is usually the best part. 

A long background in historical reenactment influences this passion for authenticity and detail. I'm also a competitive historical jouster (think knights on horseback with lances) and have ridden at tournaments in Canada, England, France, Australia, and the USA.
